The 26-7 win for the PeeWee AAA program this weekend at Sherbrooke was both brilliant and necessary, especially in light of the upset loss in Joliette the weekend before.

The team now stands solidly in 3rd place in the MRFL AAA Red division, behind St-Leonard and Sunnybrooke. The position holds the last Provincial Alouettes Cup playoffs spot and could be guaranteed this coming Saturday if the Spartans win at Sunnybrooke or if Sherbrooke loses their encounter with the Cougars in St-Leonard. If either scenario fail to materialize, the week 10 game at home against those Sherbrooke Bulldogs will be the decider with the winner taking the playoffs spot.
