After losing to the Sunnybrooke Bears last week, the Pee-Wee AAA Spartans had to wait only 5 days to avenge their loss. The Spartans handed the Bears their 1st loss of the season with a 27-6 victory.The defense had something to prove and they proved it by scoring 3 touchdowns from 4 interceptions and 3 fumble recoveries. The touchdowns were scored by Salah (2) and Gabriel S. (1). On the offensive side the O-line (Jake,Yianni, Anthony, Assante, Ben,Cole) stepped up with a great effort helping Marcos with his 104 yard touchdown run. The Spartans look to avenge their other loss in two weeks when they play the St-Leonard Cougars, Saturday September 24th at 5:00PM.
